Cane Creek introduces ‘revolutionary’ AER headset

The world’s lightest headset?

Headset and headset technology firm Cane Creek has released what it’s calling the world’s lightest headset – the AER.

The headset incorporates Norglide composite bearing technology into a lightweight design, meaning the AER saves over 50 per cent weight over comparable models, according to the firm.

The US-made road-headset also features Norglide X2 – a new innovation from Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics – which is reported to be durable enough to provide over 450 hours of smooth steering.
